Hi I recently bought Asus Zenfone 8, and, no surprise, I am very dissatisfied with the battery drain (6% per hour in idle in flight mode!). I've seen reports that Android 12 Beta fixes this. However I also understand there's a chance of making the device unusable (the memdump issue or instability after upgrade). Asusphones have complete shit quality control. Phone looks like spec heaven but each Asus Zenfone my store sales ends up needing to be warrantied out for whatever reason. Either constant reboots, purple camera, crazy battery drain, phone getting too hot to even hold. We had an Asus Zenfone AR that was discontinued 6 months into it's launch date. Greatbattery life, even at full 144Hz. Rich battery health prolonging options. Very fast charging (65W charger bundled). Fastest-available Snapdragon 888 chipset with an amazing thermal management. Great Android implementation, an unparalleled number of game tweaks, control-mapping and performance options.
